IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We are really looking forward to seeing you at the 2024 North Ferriby Community Festival.

The safety of yourself and other whilst attending the event are of paramount importance. Set out below is the information you need to ensure you enjoy the day.

EVENT TICKETS

Tickets will only be available online through our ticketing partner Ticket Tailor.  Tickets will not be sold on the gate.

When you purchase your online ticket, you will be sent a unique bar code. The bar codes will be scanned and exchanged for a wristband which will allow you entry to the event or re-entry should you need to leave for a period of time.  You can present the bar code on your phone or with a printed copy.  Each bar code is unique and may only be used once.

PLEASE NOTE: Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

WRISTBANDS

Your digital tickets will be used to obtain your wristband to gain entry to the event.  You can obtain your wristband in one of two ways:

Before the event (Highly Recommended!):  In order to reduce queuing on the day, we have made arrangements for you to exchange your ticket for a wristband in advance.  Wristbands will be available to collect from The Duke of Cumberland pub on Saturday 11th May between 11:00am and 2:00pm.  More details can be found on the Festival News page and via social media.  There will be a Fast-Track queue on the day for people who already have a wristband.  This is by far the quickest way to get into the event.

On the day: If you have not obtained your wristband in advance, you can do so on the day.  Your digital ticket will be scanned at the gate and a wristband issued.  This process will inevitably be slower than the Fast-Track lane so getting your wristband in advance is highly recommended!

ON THE DAY

Please access the festival ON FOOT via the Grange Lane access road only.  This road leads from Church Road to the playing fields, alongside the allotments. The gates will open at 3:00pm.

If you already have a wristband, please join the Fast-Track queue to go directly into the ground following a bag search.  For those who have not yet obtained a wristband, join the respective queue.  Stewards will be on hand to guide you into the correct queue.

We recommend that for children, you write an emergency mobile contact number on their wristband.  Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by and adult.

SECURITY

For your safety and event compliance, bag searches will be conducted by SIA qualified staff.  Please help to facilitate this process by complying with the following:

  • NO ALCOHOL, GLASS OR SHARP OBJECTS will be allowed into the ground.  This includes glass perfume bottles.
  • NO FOOD, other than that purchased at the festival is allowed to be brought in and consumed.  Please make security aware of any specific personal or medical needs you might have.
  • NO SMOKING is allowed on the site.
  • NO DOGS are allowed on the site.
  • CHILDREN aged 12 and under must be accompanied by and adult.

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

The event will be patrolled by trained medical staff.  They will also have a base located next to the Sponsors Bar.  In addition, there will be an emergency ambulance situated at the entry gates.  In the event of a medical emergency, please report to either of these locations for attention.

ACCESSIBILITY

If you are a guest with a disability you will be made to feel very welcome at the event. We have designated car parking spaces right outside the main entrance.
For guests using a wheelchair, access is available around the ground via concrete terracing and we’ve provided a designated viewing area in a prime central location accommodating up to four wheelchairs. We have a toilet suitable for disabled supporters. Accessible facilities include:

• Designated Parking
• Wheelchair Access
• Designated viewing area
• Disabled toilet

ENJOY THE DAY!

Feel free to bring along your pop-up chairs and picnic blankets and if, as we hope the sun shines on us, don’t forget your Factor 40!

Contactless payments and cash will be accepted throughout the site including all bars and food outlets.

The event will close at 10:30pm – we respectfully request that festival goers respect our village neighbours and leave in a quiet and orderly fashion.

Car Parking and Public Transport information can be found here.

Hopefully we have covered off everything you need to know above, but if you have any further questions, please email the organisers at: info@northferribyfestival.co.uk
